It is the goal of the Civil Process Server is to serve all received process in a reasonable and timely manner while maintaining an impartial stance between all parties involved or having an interest in a case. Each year, the Civil Process Sever along with deputies, supervisors, and office staff work together to process and execute thousands of individual civil papers every year.
A detailed case management system enables the Civil Process Sever is to effectively and efficiently administer process serving and execution of civil writs. Notice of Evictions, Subpoenas, and Writs of Execution are examples of the types of process this division serves. The overall effectiveness of the judicial system is dependent upon this division's efficient and expeditious service of these as well as many other types of civil process.
The Civil Process Sever provides a cost effective, credible service and successfully serves most defendants in civil cases.

If you have been left a notice that you need to pick up a civil paper, you may do so 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our new office is located at 601 7th Street in Moundsville.
