The County Commission is offering a community grant program to distribute some of the funding to non-profit organizations that plan to meet one of the approved core strategies and approved uses. An application process has been developed, and entities may begin applying immediately. The Commission has earmarked $100,000.00 for the first round of grant awards. Funding decisions are at the sole discretion of the Commission, and they reserve the right to fund, partially fund or deny any grant request.
Applications can be dropped off at the Marshall County Commission Office, 600 Seventh St., Annex, Moundsville; mailed to Marshall County Commission, C/O Opioid Fund Grant Request, P.O. Drawer B, Moundsville, WV 26041, or e-mailed to Betsy Frohnapfel, County Administrator at commission@marshallcountywv.gov. If Emailing, please put Opioid Fund Grant Request in the subject line.
All grant requests are due by 4:00pm Friday, January 9, 2026.
